Authorized by the State Council of Academic Degree in September 2003, Chengde Medical College has received the right to award master's degrees to its student body. The college began to recruit graduate students in the year 2004. The areas of specialization include Chinese Traditional Pharmacy, Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, and Oncology.
